BC Student Affairs - Parent Update

Dear Parents and Families,

Spring has officially arrived on the Heights! Campus is buzzing with energy and anticipation as students look forward to cherished spring traditions, like Marathon Monday and more.

In this issue of Parent Update, we feature a Q&A with Dr. Douglas Comeau, who oversees the Murray Center for Student Wellness and offers insight into Boston College's Jesuit tradition of cura personalis, care for the whole person, and the services available to your student. Next, we highlight the Career Center's Blog, which provides students with a wide array of advice as they explore careers and prepare for their next steps. Finally, I spotlight Mission Moments, a social initiative that includes annual programming and gives students opportunities to reflect and engage with their peers.

As always, be sure to glance at our Get Ready section for upcoming programs and events and other information, including an Off Campus housing letter for first-year parents and  Commencement for our seniors.

Sincerely,

Shawna Cooper Whitehead, Ed.D.
Vice President for Student Affairs
